Truck & Equipment, trading as Transpares is seeking a Store Person / Delivery Driver to join our friendly team in Cairns.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, your key responsibilities include:

Receiving, checking and processing of stock received into the warehouse
Picking and packing of stock to be dispatched, ensuring that all deliveries are packed, labelled and recorded correctly
Manual handling over 20kg will be required at times
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and well organised
Understanding and adherence to Workplace Health and Safety requirements
Delivery of product to customers and collecting stock returns from customers and suppliers
The successful candidate must be an independent worker and a reliable team player
Have experience in a similar role
Must have good communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and work well under pressure
Organisational and effective time management skills
Driver’s License is essential
Forklift license is essential
Physically fit with a good safe working knowledge of WHS systems

Good computer skills and experience in computerised warehouse systems.
Pro-active, self-motivated, reliable and customer-focused.
We are looking for the right candidate who will be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
This is a dynamic, team-based role where you'll collaborate with a team of Parts Interpreters.

Truck & Equipment, trading as Transpares is seeking a Junior parts Interpreter to join our friendly team in Cairns.

Reporting to the Manager, your key responsibilities include:

Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person
Identify motor vehicle make, models, and variations
Prepare and process customer invoices, manage supplier invoices and credits
Coordinate stock transfers and assist with stock-takes and basic warehouse tasks
Perform deliveries and pick-ups of parts when required
Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Work as part of a team with a strong work ethic and reliability
Intermediate computer and phone skills
Availability: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (Rostered Saturday 8 am to 11 am)
Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a team player
Valid driver’s licence (preferably manual or willing to obtain)
Sound written & verbal communication skills
On-the-job training and support

Opportunity to commence a parts interpreter apprenticeship after 6 months’ probation. Candidates who have an interest or experience dealing with mechanical parts are also encouraged to apply.
